Arugula is a peppery, mustard-tasting salad leaf. It can be grown as cut-and-come-again crop. The leaves and flowers are edible and they can be used in salads or added to stir-fries. Apollo has large, rounded leaves that are less bitter tasting than many other strains of arugula. The taste really improves in cold weather, and I think the leaves become especially sweet and flavorful then. Apollo arugula is an improved Dutch cultivar of common roquette.
