Brussel Sprouts - Dagan
Planting: space seedlings 18"-24" apart in full sun, in well-draining soil rich in organic matter and nutrients (can be amended with compost and/or worm castings beforehand)
Watering: keep soil evenly moist, but not waterlogged, and avoid wetting the stalk when watering to prevent disease
Harvesting: harvest from the bottom of the stalk as sprouts reach 1" to 1.5" in size by cutting them off of the stalk with a sharp knife or pair of shears. Leave the upper sprouts alone and they will continue to grow, then harvest those later, effectively working your way up the stalk as the sprouts mature.
