Sage's broad oval leaves are rough or wrinkled and usually downy; the colour ranges from gray-green to whitish green. Sage is a wonderful addition to your herb garden, and can be used in a variety of dishes in the kitchen and has medicinal value. Not only is it delicious, but when it flowers it also attracts many pollinators to your garden! This specific type of sage is native to the Mediterranean reagion.
