Produces flavorful dark green, smooth, and rounded leaves that have a wide variety of uses. Use them fresh in a salad, sautee them with garlic and onion as a side dish, put some in a frittata or cook them into pasta, or blend them into your smoothies or green juices. Spinach is not only a workhorse in the kitchen, but it is incredibly easy to grow, and full of nutrients as well.

Grows best in early spring or late summer, matures quickly after transplant.
