Grows best in cool fall weather, mature at 60-85 days.

Planting: plant seedlings 18"-24" apart, in full sun, in well-draining soil rich in organic matter (can be amended with compost and/or worm castings prior to planting). Enjoys a soil pH range of 6.5 to 7.0.
Watering: keep soil consistently moist, and avoid getting the plant wet when watering to avoid diseases.
Harvesting: cut heads when desired size is obtained but before the heads loosen and separate.
