Lemongrass is a plant native to southeast Asia. This fragrant, grass-like herb grows in thick clumps and can reach heights of 3' to 5'. The lemony stalks are used when they are 1/2" to 1" thick. Lemongrass is commonly used in Southeast Asian cuisines, especially Thai and Vietnamese, and the grassy leaves can be used to infuse broths and soups, or can be made into a tea, fresh or dried.
