How to Become a Volunteer
Step 1: Explore the kinds of volunteer opportunities available at Valley Verde via our volunteer job descriptions or contact us for time-specific information.
Step 2: Fill out our volunteer registration form and site visit waiver.
Step 3: Contact Us with a request to be added to our Volunteer WhatsApp group.This is the best way to stay posted on upcoming opportunities! Please note that if you wish to keep your phone number private, we recommend using a Google Voice number.

Volunteer Opportunities for Schools
We partner with K-12 schools and universities to provide students with valuable volunteering and field work experiences. If you are part of a student group, class, or other school-related organization, please email us to schedule one-time or recurring volunteer opportunities!
Volunteer Opportunities for Organizations
We partner with organizations of all sizes to provide their employees with volunteering opportunities that include outside activities, learning about food justice and sustainability, and giving back to the community.

Because hosting volunteering events involves preparation and facilitation, we ask for a base donation that is based on group size. Base donations start at $250 for groups of four to five people.
